Membership in the Lists
This webpage will explain in more detail how someone who is interested in joining Holy Spirit Ministries can be a member.
1. Membership is free as in all Yahoo! Groups lists. It is restricted only for security purposes.
2. What is required to be a member?
Nothing. Just openness to learn more, grow and mature more in the Spirit of Christ Jesus. Once a member, you can read the messages and have the privilege not only of learning and growing spiritually through them but you can also forward the messages to your family and friends.
3. How long must I stay a member?
You are free to stay as long as it will be beneficial to you and as long as your schedule permits. You can always come back anytime. Some lists have special events during the year. It is good to know what those special events are so that when you do indeed return, you will be in time for those special events. The special events are given in the main page of this website.
4. What are the benefits of being of a member of the Holy Spirit Ministries lists?
You will get to know the PCentral Online WebNetwork in which it belongs. All the material in that WebNetwork - the spiritual content - are free for copy and use for personal purposes only. In the lists of Holy Spirit Ministries, there are links given to websites that belong to the PCentral Online WebNetwork. You will better understand what they mean if you belong first to the lists and grow with the list in learning the Pentecost spirituality of which the WebNetwork is based.
As regards the business links and the other secular links of the WebNetwork, some of them are not for free and need purchasing. Just take care of being discriminate in your checking out these links. Some advertisements and pop-ups are not always according to the traditional Catholic values we have always known.
5. What do I do to join?
Just go to the links on the left column of this webpage, click on them to go to the Yahoo! site of the list, check out the description of the list. If it interests you then just subscribe to the list. You are free to put your message preference to one that would be convenient for you: whether be in individual message mode, daily digest form, or no message form (messages will be checked at the site).
6. Are there any rules and regulations in the lists?
Everything is free form. The only thing that is required is to keep tactful and polite decorum and proper protocol in all interaction. The lists are meant to bond people in the Internet; not to create enmity or conflict. Peaceful co-existence is the ideal we strive to live in the lists.
If you want to promote something on the lists, you can promote it. It could be a business, an article, your homepage or website, or anything that pertains to spirituality, religion and the needs of daily life. Anything pornographic is strictly prohibited. Anything that promotes gambling also is prohibited. And most important of all, anything that goes against the teachings and commandments of the Church at this present time should not be promoted in the Holy Spirit Ministries list.
7. How many lists can I join?
As many as you like. Just be sure that you are able to handle the email that will arrive at your inbox. Some of our members who post actively, post the same message in many of the lists of Holy Spirit Ministries. Try to find out what combination of preferences would be best for yourself: individual messages, daily digest, or no email. You can alter the preferences as many times as you like so as to get the best mix of the volume of email received.
